One of the (many) good things about the FJ is that it's
fairly easy to service. This evening I checked the valve gaps. The frame tubes
are wide and give good access to the valves. The gaps were all ok. Adjustment
is by shims above buckets so if adjustment is necessary the cams don't need to
come out (as is the case with my CBF250)

Gap record sheet to keep track of things |
Cam lobes are in perfect condition at 70,000 miles |
That gap record check sheet looks like double Dutch to me!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's the result of years of work! It makes sense to me, but no one else.
