If the machine won't spin and the "1200" & "600" lights flash, the pump is knackered. £12 for a pattern part. Easy to fix, the hardest bit is turning the machine upside down to get access.
Yes, we live in a "throw away" society. Because consumer goods are so cheap it's not worth paying someone to repair them. But I like figuring out how things work and it's satisfying if I can get them working.

DeleteThe constant beeping once the wash has finished is my biggest problem with that machine, so annoying!!
