I Fix, Therefore I Am

Not just bikes. Fitting a new pump to the washing machine in the back garden today.

    1. If the machine won't spin and the "1200" & "600" lights flash, the pump is knackered. £12 for a pattern part. Easy to fix, the hardest bit is turning the machine upside down to get access.

  3. The constant beeping once the wash has finished is my biggest problem with that machine, so annoying!!

    1. Yes, we live in a "throw away" society. Because consumer goods are so cheap it's not worth paying someone to repair them. But I like figuring out how things work and it's satisfying if I can get them working.
