At the end of our trip we spent a day in the regional capital of Faro. A charming little city that is a joy to stroll around.

It's a long way from Britain but if you're going to ride down here this is the bike for it. A British registered BMW K1600. |
What a beautiful trip. I only visited Portugal for business some time ago. For some reason I have never been interested in sunny and warm places (I may have to talk to my shrink about this issue.). But as I grow older (and hopefully wiser) I begin to like the idea. Thanks for taking me along.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you liked the posts.
DeleteWe're not really keen on extreme heat. We like to walk about and usually visit southern Europe in spring or autumn.
Such a beautiful place. Bright blue skies, puffy white clouds.....
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't be keen on the heat either, but it seems worth it for the views and ambience.
When we where there the weather was lovely - 28C/82F. I would avoid June - August.
