Stormy Weather
The UK has been enduring a period of bad weather with
rain and floods causing many outdoor events to be cancelled. I took these pictures of
dramatic skies over Ayrshire this afternoon.
Has a wintry look to it, right now California is living up to it's warm and sunny image...think it hit about 107 degrees F yesterday...at least it's "dry" heat. Bit of a massive heat wave many places on this side of the pond.
It can be rough...if your moving you get some relief, but you stop and sweat will come pouring out. Better to ride at night when things have cooled off. When I was 15-16 I used to love riding at night. In those days there was so little traffic as well.
I've taken the liberty of putting this on TBC (http://thebridgeclub2011.blogspot.co.uk/2012/07/stuart-sums-it-up.html) as it sums things up rather well.

ReplyDelete107F! can you even ride a bike in that heat? 60-70F is fine for me.
