About three years ago the
silencer box on my FJ was shot. I sourced one from an XJR1300 that I knew would
fit. It came with a pair of XJR silencers and I fitted these as well. For the
coming season, and for no particular reason, I changed the silencers back to a
pair of MIVV silencers I bought years ago. These are a close match to the
original Yamaha items.
