isn't the only thing turning the countryside yellow see here Over the last
decade or so Oilseed Rape is increasingly been grown for vegetable oil.
I quite like it because it brightens up the countryside. Apparently most of the British crop goes to Germany for the production of biodiesel. So maybe in the future it will power our bikes.
Probably the worst ever crop if you suffer from hayfever.

DeleteVery bright yellow. I haven't seen that much since driving through Alberta, Canada. It is a huge crop there.
