The Joys of the Scottish Summer

I went for short run today down to Dumfries. The weatherman warned that it would be cool with showers but I set off anyway. Unwisely I was wearing an old pair of not-at-all waterproof boots. After a heavy shower my feet were wet and cold - a very unpleasant feeling. I first tried to dry them on the SV's radiator while riding along. This didn't work well but luckily I found a bargain store where I procured some cheap socks.

  1. Smart move stopping for warm dry socks. There is nothing quite like that feeling of the first cold rivulet of water trickling down the side of your foot and under the arch.
