The Scottish Motorcycle show was held this weekend at the Ingliston Showground near Edinburgh. I hadn't been for a few years and with decent weather it was a very enjoyable day
|Many folk came on their bikes
|Malcolm tries a Honda CB650F
|The Royal Enfield Himalayan 400cc adventure bike
|The KTM Duke 390 looks like fun.
I wasn't really that interested by the new bikes on show, I spent my time in the classics hall. I'll start with the dirt bikes.
|A pair of Triumph twin scramblers
|A Rickman BSA Victor
|A CZ Trail (175cc?)
|Ok this isn't a dirt bike, but it's a dirty bike. It looks like an unrestored oldie, but….Magna De Bon, Paris? There was a manufacturer Magnat-Debon based in Grenoble….
|….and that engine isn't right. An overhead cam? I think it started life somewhere else. Any guesses?
More show stuff on the way
